Telecenter Representative

The Waste Management corporation is hiring for a Telecenter Representative in their west Phoenix office located at 2421 West Peoria Avenue.

The Customer Service Representative position receives and processes incoming calls from customers.

Your job would be to identify and resolve customer service issues such as missed pick ups and billing issues in a timely manner. You must be able to handle high inbound call volume, 80-120 calls per day on average, on a consistent basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• Ability to use a Windows computer and know how to work Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must be able to type 35 words per minute

Sales Reconciliation Cashier - HR Betty - Hensley Beverage Company - West Phoenix

Sales Reconciliation Cashier and Warehouse Forklift Repacker

HR Betty is hiring a Sales Reconciliation Cashier at part time for $12/hr to receive, record, and verify cash and checks from Delivery truck drivers. Position is from 1pm to 6pm with ending times varying a little depending on delivery drivers. You are also expected to work occasional Saturday's.

Job Fair!

Meet face-to-face with a local employer looking to hire in various maintenance positions. Goodwill of Central Arizona is hosting a hiring event on November 21st at their Career Center located, 515 N. 51st Ave., Phoenix.

The event is free and open to the public. Job seekers should dress professionally, bring copies of their resume and be prepared to interview with recruiters.

The recruitment Event will take place from 10am to 12noon. Show up half and hour early to get paper work filled out before everyone else.

Open Works is the local employer and they will be hiring for Janitors and Custodians on-site. Bring two forms of ID. Be prepared for Pre-Employment Screening which will include a drug test and background check looking for misdemeanors. Open Works is offering $8.50/hr for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Movie in the Park

City of Phoenix Councilman Michael Nowakowski will be hosting a movie night in the West Phoenix Kuban Park this Saturday November 5th starting at sundown, around 5:30pm. 

The movie being screened is Dreamworks How to Train Your Dragon

Kuban Park is located at 3275 W. Sherman St, north of Buckeye Rd and west of 31st Ave. It isn't really easy to enter from Buckeye because of the neighborhoods and school in the area. If I was taking the Buckeye bus I'd get off at 35th Ave walk up to Sherman (less than half a block) and then walk east to the park, this is also where the parking lot is located. 

The weather for Saturday night will be a low of 49*. Bring blankets, jackets, chairs and snacks.
