Free Family Easter Egg Hunts held through out the valley on Saturday April 3rd and Sunday the 4th in Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, and Tempe.
The Glendale Easter Egg Hunt will be held in the History Downtown Glendale area between 58th Ave and Palmaire Dr from 930AM to 1130AM. Free to children 10 and under.
The Peoria Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Peoria Sports Complex 16101 N 83rd Ave. The event runs from 8AM to 12Noon free to ages 10 and under when you bring a canned food to benefit the St. Mary’s/Westside Food Bank Alliance.
The Tempe Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the North Soccer Field at Kiwanis Park, 6111 S. All American Way from 8AM to 10AM The event is free for children 10 and under. With free give aways at 8AM
The Phoenix Easter Egg Hunt is the only one I know of held on Sunday the 4th and it will be held at the Enchanted Island in the Encanto Park 1202 W. Encanto Blvd. The event will begin at 10AM and is free to ages 10 and under

They are looking to fill the shift of Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The rate of pay depends on experience, there are no benefits and length of service is undetermined. Previous professional groundskeeping or landscaping experience is preferred.
Duties include general grounds maintenance work; sweeps walks and parking areas; maintains hoses, supplies, tools, and equipment in proper condition and repair; uses tractor or various lawn mowers to cut grass areas; performs minor repair and adjustment of equipment; plants, transplants, cultivates, waters, irrigates ornamental plants, shrubs, hedges, trees and flowers;

The Department of Veterans Affairs has created a toll-free, national hotline for veterans to provide free, 24-hour access to VA counselors and other resources that might help you.
If you call during normal business hours hotline staff will ask you a few questions to figure out what you need, then they will transfer you to a live person at your local VA medical center.

If you are living at your own residence, you can expect to receive a packet in the mail with instructions on how to fill it out.
If you are living in a shelter or another situation where you are not at your own residence, you can expect to be contacted by census workers at some point to fill out the necessary forms.

Project Homeless Connect Event
The next Project Homeless Connect will happen Friday, January 22nd at the
First United Methodist Church from 7AM to 4:00PM
The address is 215 East University Drive Tempe, AZ 85281- (click for map)
The First United Methodist Church is on University between Mill and College on the south side. There will be a limited supply of parking. Free parking is located on Apache one block south of University. The University 30 Bus Route will take you there.
Project Homeless Connect events offer instant access to the resources you need to start the journey back to health, financial stability and housing. This includes access to goods - like food, clothing, showers, and hair cuts - and services such as counseling job placement and shelters.

Saturday December 19th Full Circle Help located at 202 W Dobbins Rd Phoenix, Arizona 85041-8510 will be offering free holiday toys on a first come first serve bases. Registration for the event will take place between 9:45 am-10:45 am. I would suggest getting their early. Parents HAVE TO BRING CHILDREN WITH THEM. The event is open to all Maricopa County residents and there are no eligiility requirements. No type of documents are required
Christmas Dinner
Friday, December 25th the Phoenix Convention Center located on 3rd St and Washington will be serving a holiday meal for for Christmas at 11:30am. Doors open at 9:30am, so I would suggest getting their early. This is not the only location but the first one I was able to find. Keep a look out for more holiday messages!
