Youth Build - City of Phoenix

Youth Build is a GED and workforce training program in one. Participants get GED credit and work together to build a house. Open to youth ages 18 to 24, this 8 month program will have youth working one week at a time on different programs. One week will be focused on GED, the next will be a skills class like carpentry, then the next week will be on site exprience building a house. The program provides a $100 a week incentive and an $800 bonus if you finish the program.

The next information session is Wednesday January 11th at 3pm in the Emmett McLaughlin Community Training Center at 1150 S 7th Ave 85007. Another session will be offered on January 19th at 2pm at the North DES Office at 9801 N 7th St.
